If you use an alphabetic sequence for revision numbers, you can specify the characters and the order in which they occur. You can specify one alphabetic sequence per project.
To define an alphabetic sequence
The sequence can include letters and other characters (such as *, &, and %). It cannot include spaces, numbers, or repeated characters.
If the project contains more revisions than the number of characters in the sequence, Revit uses double characters. For example, if you define the sequence abcdefghij, and a project has more than 10 revisions, Revit numbers the later revisions using aa, bb, cc, and so on.
