Click Reinforcement Pattern on the toolbar or select Analysis > Reinforcement Pattern and select the General tab to access general parameters concerning reinforcement of a wall (for the French code).
Contents of the dialog box depend on a code selected for calculations of RC elements.
Straight bars. This is used to define the maximum length of straight bars for reinforcement. An originating condition diameter should be applied.
Module length. This determines a value (module) to which the bar length should be rounded up or down. For example, if a bar is applied at 5.36 m in the first run, the Module Length value 0.10 m would adjust the bar length to 5.40 m.
Anti-shrinkage reinforcement. This is generated in the form of horizontal and vertical bars and uniformly distributed in the wall.
The anti-shrinkage reinforcement must fulfill the requirements below:
Reinforcement type:
If American RC design code ACI is chosen, there are no options concerning anti-shrinkage reinforcement on the General tab.
