This option defines loads from concentrated forces acting on a structure bar at a selected point. Open the Bar Force dialog by clicking on the Bar tab in the Load Definition dialog.
The following concentrated forces acting on structure bars can be defined in the dialog:
Additionally, angles at which the forces act on a structure bar can be defined.
You define the coordinates of a point along the length of a bar at which the concentrated force is applied at the bottom of the dialog. The coordinates can be entered as absolute or relative values. Also, there is the Generate a calculation node at the point where a load is applied option. When this option is selected, a calculation node is generated at the point where the load is applied when generating the calculation model for the structure. It enhances the display of calculation results at points where loads are applied, such as, the display of values in tables and the transfer of force values to the modules for designing bar elements.
Concentrated force applied at a point along a bar length acts along the longitudinal bar axis. To easily define loads acting at points that are are not positioned on the longitudinal bar axis, you can define a displacement (eccentricity) of the force in relation to the longitudinal bar axis.
Load on eccentricity is at the bottom of the dialog:
