Click New set of calculation parameters in the Calculation parameters dialog to access RC member calculation parameters.
Parameters needed for RC member design that are not connected with its geometry such as: steel and concrete characteristics, used member types, and covers are grouped. Remaining code parameters depending on geometry are defined in a RC member type.
The dialog has the following tabs:
- General. Parameters of concrete (in the Concrete field) and additional parameters needed in calculations.
- Longitudinal reinforcement. Steel parameters, member types and covers to the edge or bottom reinforcement axis can be defined.
- Transversal reinforcement. Steel parameters for transversal reinforcement, reinforcement type and its parameters can be defined.
Part of this data depends on a code you have selected. The dialog will express this appropriately.
- American codes: ACI 318/95, ACI 318/95 metric, ACI 318-02 and ACI 318-02 metric (tabs: General, Longitudinal reinforcement , Transversal reinforcement).
- British code: BS 8110 (tabs: General, Longitudinal reinforcement, Transversal reinforcement).
- Canadian code CSA A23.3-94 (similar parameters to those for the American ACI code).
- French codes: BAEL 91 and BAEL 91 mod.99 (tabs: General, Longitudinal reinforcement, Transversal reinforcement).
- EC2 (tabs: General, Longitudinal reinforcement, Transversal reinforcement) - EC2 (ENV 1992-1-1:1992) and several versions of the code with different National Application Documents.
- Dutch code: NEN 6720 (General, Longitudinal reinforcement, Transversal reinforcement) .
- Spanish codes: EH91 and EHE98.
- Italian code DM 9/1/96.
- Russian code SNiP 2.03.01-84.
- Romanian code STAS 10107/0-90.
