Using this option, you can define windows in the walls of a structure model in both 3D and 2D views. Windows are defined in 3D space, but individual window openings are inserted in horizontal plans of a given story (in the top view).
To begin defining the window, open the Window Definition dialog from:
- Menu: Formwork Drawings > Define > Window
- Ribbon: ASD - Model > Openings > Window
- Toolbar: Define > Window
- Command line: RBCX_DEF_WINDOW.
In the drawing area, select a wall.
Use the tabs on the Window Definition dialog to define parameters:
Use the icons on the right to select a mode of parameter definition:
- Click Insert
to create a window based on parameters you define in the dialog - Click Inherit properties
to adopt parameters of a previously defined window. Select a window in the drawing area, and then the dialog redisplays, populated with the parameters of the selected window.
