Using this option, you can define doors in the walls of a structure model in both 3D and 2D views. Doors are defined in 3D space, but individual door openings are inserted in horizontal plans of a given story (in the top view).
To begin defining the door, open the Door Definition dialog from:
- Menu: Formwork Drawings > Define > Doors
- Ribbon: ASD - Model > Openings > Door
- Toolbar: Define > Doors
- Command line: RBCX_DEF_DOOR.
Use the tabs on the Door Definition dialog to define parameters:
Use the icons on the right to select a mode of parameter definition:
- Click Insert
to create a door based on parameters you define in the dialog. - Click Inherit properties
to adopt parameters of a previously defined door. Select a door in the drawing area, and then the dialog redisplays, populated with the parameters of the selected door.
