Using this option, you can define intermediate (horizontal) planes or inclined planes on which elements of a structure model can be defined.
To begin defining planes, open the Definition of planes dialog after selection the option from:
You can define the following plane types:
intermediate plane (always a horizontal plane)
inclined plane of a defined shape and slope
inclined plane defined according to the geometry of a selected polyline or plane.
After you define a plane, it is available for selection in the dialogs used when defining structure model elements (such as beams, slabs, and walls). Defined planes display on these lists only for stories on which planes have been defined.
To define inclined elements (such as beams or slabs) on a chosen story:
To group planes, click Formwork Drawings menu > Planes > Group planes. Using this option (see Options available in the menu), you can create a group of planes that define an element of a structure model (for example, planes that define a multi-pitch roof).
To attach structure elements to an inclined plane:
An example of attaching walls to the inclined plane is shown in the drawing below.
Click (Inherit properties) located in the bottom right corner to adopt parameters of a previously defined plane.
