To map data source properties to model properties

Configure an imported data source. If the Common tab is available in the Data Source Configuration dialogue box, it will display available model properties specific to the selected type. For each model property that appears, map a data source property (if possible).

  1. Import a database or file-based data source.
  2. Double-click the new data source in the Data Sources panel to open the Data Configuration dialogue box.
  3. Click Type and select the appropriate category for your data (such as Road, Building, Coverage, etc.).
    Note: You can not change the data source Type after initial configuration.
  1. Data Type can not be modified after initial configuration.
  2. Select the Common tab.
  3. Supported model properties specific to the data Type are displayed.

    a. Click to open the Expression Editor. Create an expression to filter data source properties.

    b. Change unit of measure.

    c. Select a data source property from the drop-down list to directly map to a model property.

    • Specify a Rule Style
    • Specify additional data Type-specific style properties, such as building facade base colour and roof material.
