The iray rollout contains the main controls for the iray renderer.
Interface
- Rendering Duration per Frame
-
Lets you specify how to control the process of rendering.
- Time (The default.) Set the duration of the rendering in Hours, Minutes, and Seconds. Default = 1 minute.
Note: The number of iterations in a particular time interval depends on CPU/GPU speed and on available memory.
- Iterations (number of passes) Set the number of iterations to run. Default=500.
- Unlimited Choose this to let the renderer run for an indefinite period of time. When you are satisfied with the result, you can click Cancel on the Rendering Progress dialog.
When you use Unlimited rendering, the Rendering Progress dialog displays the number of iterations that have elapsed, and the progress bar shows an animated stripe rather than an absolute percentage.
