Import Structural Model

Import the structural FEA model for mapping.

  1. Click (Start & Learn > Launch Panel > Import Structural Model). The Import dialog appears.
  2. Select the file to be imported.
  3. Select the model units.
  4. Click OK.
    5. Note: If your structural model contains an assembly of parts, you will need to select the individual part you wish to import.

The imported model appears in a new dialog window inside the Advanced Material Exchange GUI that displays the meshed geometry.

Note: After importing the initial model, the Home tab becomes available, from which you may also import via Home > Launch > Import Structural Model.
