You can change the contents, formatting and properties of single-line text.
Move, Scale, and Rotate Text
Text objects have grips for moving, scaling, and rotating. A text object has grips at the lower-left corner of the baseline and at the alignment point.
The effect of a command depends on which grip you choose.
Edit Single-line Text
- Click menu .
- Select a single-line text object.
- In the in-place editor, enter the new text.
- Press ENTER.
- Select another text object to edit, or press ENTER to end the command.
Modify Properties of Single-line Text
- Select a single-line text object.
- Right-click the selected object. Click Properties.
- In the Properties palette, enter any new text, and then change formatting and other properties as needed.
