AMCHAM2D (Command)

Connects two non-parallel objects by extending or trimming them to intersect or to join with a beveled line.

Summary

You can select chamfer length values from lists, enter them manually, or specify them graphically. You can also set the AMCHAM2D command to assign dimensions to the beveled edge.

First object
Specifies the first of two lines

First object

Creates a chamfer by connecting two lines to connect with a beveled line. Select the first of the two lines required to define the chamfer.

Second Object
Specifies the second of the two lines required to define the chamfer.

Polyline

Chamfers all vertexes of a polyline.

Select polyline
Specifies the polyline to modify.

Setup

Shows the Chamfer dialog box, enabling you to specify the chamfer lengths and chamfer dimension representations.

Add Dimension

Creates dimensions for a chamfer.
