To Create a Folder

1. In the mechanical browser, right-click the component view or folder you want to use as the parent of the folder you want to create, and click NewFolder.
   Note:
   • You can select the root node as a parent, if required.
   • Standard part views, shaft component views, component views in annotation views, and component views in AMDETAIL views are invalid selections for a parent.
2. Press Enter to accept the default folder name or enter a new name.
3. In model space, select objects to add to the folder, or press Enter to create an empty folder.
4. In model space, click to specify a base point. A new folder is created and displayed in the browser.
