Default Name Format

Use these settings to specify the default name formats for pressure network components. Click in the Value column, and click to make changes in the Name Template dialog box.

Default Profile Label Placement

Use these settings to establish the default placement of profile view labels associated with the pressure network. You can specify the following settings for pressure pipes, fittings, and appurtenances:

Dimension Anchor Option

Specifies the location of the dimension line anchor for profile view labels for pressure networks:

  • Fixed: Places the dimension line anchor at a fixed elevation on a profile view. Specify the elevation in the Dimension Anchor Elevation Value field.
  • Above: Moves the dimension line anchor up the distance specified in the Dimension Anchor Elevation Value.
  • Below: Moves the dimension line anchor down the distance specified in the Dimension Anchor Elevation Value.
  • Graph View Top: Places the line anchor at the top of the profile view grid.
  • Graph View Bottom: Places the line anchor at the bottom of the profile view grid.
Note: These settings impact the label location when the Anchor Point setting in the label style is set to Pipe Dimension, Fitting Dimension, or Appurtenance Dimension.
Dimension Anchor Elevation Value

Specifies the elevation value to apply in relation to the specified Dimension Anchor Option. For example, if the Dimension Anchor Option is set to Graph View Top, and the Dimension Anchor Elevation Value is -0.5, then the label is placed .5 units below the top of the graph. Enter an elevation in the Value column or click and select a value in the drawing area.

Dimension Anchor Plot Height Value

Specifies the default plot height of the dimension line anchor for profile view labels for pressure networks. Enter a height in the Value column.

Alignment Type Option
