Three indicators are displayed in the Indicator widget that highlight different aspects of the part design.

Manufacturability indicator |
|
Cost efficiency indicator |
|
Plastic material impact indicator |
These indicators show the broad areas that are considered when assessing the part. The height and color of the panel behind each of these indicators represent how well the current design falls within the set design criteria. A full green panel indicates high compliance to the criteria while a low red panel represents a design that needs further investigation.

Each indicator result is the summary of the overall criteria compliance. It is possible to have, for example, a Manufacturing indicator that overall has a high compliance, but one or more of the elements that comprise the indicator - draft angles for example, has specific issues that need to be considered. In this case, an alert icon
is added to the indicator.

For information about an indicator, click Home tab, and select Alerts or Information from the panel that corresponds with the indicator of interest. Alternatively click on the icon in the widget and a pop-up dialog with two tabs is displayed.
The Alerts tab outlines any parameters that need attention. Several individual parameters have sub-menus that help visualize or rectify the problem.
The Information tab shows how each parameter contributes to the indicator value.
These tabs will be discussed in sections that refer to the individual indicators.
