The Allow Alternate Sizes to Avoid Oversizing feature will automatically select the most appropriate sheet size available, within the current material/gauge in order to avoid oversizing parts whilst auto-nesting.
Enabling the Allow Alternate Sizes to Avoid Oversizing option
To activate the Allow Alternate Sizes to Avoid Oversizing option, it must first be enabled in our software's general nesting settings.
- Click File > Setup > Main Database > General Nesting or select the Main Database icon from the Utility Bar.
- The following dialogue box will appear.
- Click theAllow alternate Sizes to Avoid Oversizing checkbox to place a tick against it.
- Click Apply and OK.
