Auto-marking allows the set-up of default marking text on nested parts. To enable auto-marking:
- Click on File > Setup > Installed Machines or select the Installed Machines icon from the Utility Bar.
- Select the machine from the list and click on Tools.
If there is not already a marking tool add one by using the following procedure.
- Click on Marking to Highlight it.
- Click on the Add Tool button.
- Select the marking tool by using the drop down box.
- Click Ok
- Highlight the marking tool and clickSetup.
- Set the text size to the required value by clicking in the box and typing in the text size.
- Click OK.
There should now be an extra option tab for Auto Marking Settings in the Machine Editor dialogue.
Tick the Apply Auto Marking Data box. The data field on the right is the selected text. Select from the left box and use the arrow keys below to move it across. The Concatenate option adds a "+" to the selected item and will allow the marking to be done in a line.
