Repositioning Object Text

TOOLBAR COMMAND LINE MOVETEXT, ROTTEXT SHIFT/RIGHT CLICK CADmep > Move Object Text CADmep > Rotate Object Text

Once the Item annotation has been applied it can be re-arranged to suit the individual drawings needs. This can be done with either the AutoCAD's grips or the CAD-Duct Solids/CAD-Mech move tools.

Procedure

Move Tool:

1. Draw and annotate the Items - see Topic Object Annotation.
2. Select Move Object Text
   
   .
3. Select on the actual text that is to be moved.
4. The text should now attach itself to the cursor and can repositioned by selecting a new location.

Rotate Tool:

1. Draw and annotate the Items - see Topic Object Annotation.
2. Select Rotate Object Text
   
   .
3. Select the text to be rotated.
4. The text should now rotate based on the position of the cursor. The text pivot is bottom left justified.
