MAP-Software System Files Description

MAP.INI	Contains paths to system resources such as, database, item folders, services etc, also contains information on default view settings.
Folders.INI	Contains the structure of the software's Item Folders and is required to display the folders/sub folders correctly to the user
Design.INI	Contains information used for the "Design Line" functionality such as default rounding values, length of flex etc. This file also contains the default values for the "Flow Calculator" that is located on the "Design Line" toolbar
Services.map	Contains "Service Template" information required to display the correct item shortcut that is represented on the service
Spool.INI	Contains default information that is displayed in the "Spooling" dialog boxes
Database Files (.MAP)	The Fabrication database contains various files with an extension of .MAP, these files make up the various settings that are held in the software. Files store information on such elements as Connectors, Specification, Services etc

• The configuration file MAP.INI allows users to to modify the path of the CADmep Main Database as well as other Program Paths, please refer to the http://beehive.autodesk.com/community/service/rest/cloudhelp/resource/cloudhelpchannel/guidcrossbook/jsonp?v=2015&p=FABRICATION&l=ENU&guid=SOFTWARE_INSTALLATION help topic.
• The configuration file FOLDERS.INI contains the Item folder paths.
• If multiple CADmep applications are required, use copies of MAP.INI and FOLDERS.INI to locate the different configurations.
