Use a variety of Roadway Design tools to modify the vertical profile of a design road.
Edit the vertical geometry of a design road in any of the following several ways:
Select a design road and pitch the model to display the road at an angle. Use manipulators on the line modify the elevation, station, and grade at various points.
Click a manipulator to display toolbars for values such as grade, station, and elevation.
Right-click to add or remove a PVI from the current location.
Right-click a curve and click Curve Properties to display the Curve Properties panel. This panel displays vertical curve parameters such as length, K-value, and passing, stopping, and headlight distance.
The values on the Curve Properties panel are read only. To change the properties, use the in-canvas editing options such as manipulators and toolbars.
The Profile View panel displays the vertical geometry in profile. You can quickly scan the station and elevation of the vertical geometry elements, and quickly navigate between elements the Profile View panel and the road object in canvas.
