When installing the software, you can specify that service packs should be installed and applied as part of the installation process.
The Service Packs option is available as follows:
- During a stand-alone Revit installation, on the Install > Configure Installation page
- When creating a deployment, on the Create Deployment > Configure page (not available for Revit LT)
Note: If you are installing a software release for which no service packs are available, this option is disabled, and the following message displays: This product is up-to-date. No Service Pack is available.
Select one of the following options:
Include service packs from Autodesk.com
If you are working online, the installation program checks Autodesk.com to determine whether service packs are available for this software release. If so, they are listed in this section. Use this option to include those service packs in the software installation.
- Select the option Include Service Pack(s) from Autodesk.com.
- Click Download.
- Wait for the service packs to download from Autodesk.com before proceeding.
Include service packs from local drive or local network
If a service pack has been downloaded and made available for you locally, you can specify it here to be included with the software installation.
- Select the option Include Service Pack(s) from local drive or local network.
- To add a service pack to the list, click Add. Navigate to its location and select the file. It displays in the Service Packs list.
- In the list, select the service packs to apply.
Do not include service packs
Select this option if service packs are listed in one of the previous sections, and you do not want to include them with the software installation.
