Use the dialog box to enter parameters for cylinder in Shaft Component Generator.
Note: You can insert an unlimited number of middle features to a cylinder.
- Access
- Ribbon: Design tab
Power Transmission panel Shaft. On the Design tab, select Sections in the Sections drop-down list. On the toolbar, click Insert Cylinder 
.
Dimensions
Enables Cylinder dimensions editing.
- Name
- Displays the name of the parameter. Name of the dimension is used in the Calculation tab and in the Results pane. The column is not editable.
- Size
- Click the Size field to insert a value, or select a value from displayed list.
Click Measure from the context menu to measure dimension in the Autodesk Inventor window.
Click List Parameters to display list with parameters. Click to select the parameter and insert the value to the Size edit field.
Click Values from the context menu to see the list of recommended and available dimensions.
- Description
- Displays the description of the parameter. Name of the dimension is used in the Calculation tab and in the Results pane. Column is not editable.
