Defines the punch of a 3D shape into a sheet metal face.

Then, in the Punch Tool Directory, select a punch and click Open.
Punches a 3D shape into a sheet metal face. At least one hole center must exist on the selected sheet metal face. The iFeature designed to be used with the Punch tool must be a 3D solid, based on a sketch with a single hole center.

- Location
- Specifies the folder that contains Sheet Metal Punch iFeatures.
- Punch
- Specifies a Sheet Metal Punch iFeature in the folder specified in Location, and displays a preview.
- Across Bend
- Specifies whether the punch feature applies across a bend. Not selected by default. When not selected, punch feature stops at the bend. Available on all tabs.
- Geometry
- Adds and removes instances of an iFeature, controls its planar rotational angle, and satisfies unresolved geometric references.
- Centers
- Specifies hole centers to position the iFeature. If more than one hole center exists on the sheet metal face, places an iFeature on each hole center.
Note: To remove one or more instances of a punch shape, press Ctrl and click a hole center.
- Angle
- Specifies the angle the iFeature is rotated from the default position.
- Refresh
- Redraws the iFeature with geometry requirements fulfilled.

- When enabled (dark blue-filled circle) indicates the availability of an attached document file associated with the iFeature that discusses placement details. Select to display document.
- Across Bend
- Specifies whether the punch feature applies across a bend. Not selected by default. When not selected, punch feature stops at the bend. Available on all tabs.
- Size
- Changes the size of the punch shape by modifying its parameters.
Lists Name and Value of each parameter that controls the shape of the iFeature. Double-click a Value to change it. A pencil displays beside the active parameter.
- Refresh Redraws the iFeature with geometry requirements fulfilled.
- Finish Creates the Sheet Metal Punch iFeature on the face of the part.
- Cancel Discards all input and closes the Punch Tool dialog box.
