Starting the Application and Connecting to a Site

To work with Autodesk Infrastructure Studio, you must connect to the site where your resources are stored.

To start Autodesk Infrastructure Studio and connect to your site

  1. Click Start menu ProgramsAutodeskAutodesk Infrastructure Studio.
  2. Click File menu Open Site or click File menu Recent Sites.
  3. Select a site name.
  4. In the Site Authentication dialog box, enter the URL for the site, your user name, and password.

    Site, User ID, and Password entries are case-sensitive.

    To obtain the site URL, see your administrator. Enter the site URL using the following syntax:

    http://MySiteAddress/mapserver

    The Site Explorer displays the site and all available resources. Note that resources have associated permissions that control who views and edits them.
