As you style a layer, use the Layer Preview pane to view what it will look like when a user displays it in the Viewer.
To preview the data
- If the Feature Source Preview pane is not displayed, click Preview.
- Click Refresh.
The Feature Source Preview divides into two frames. The left frame displays the feature source schema, class, data properties, and geometric properties.
- Do one of the following:
- Click View Data in the left frame to display the feature class data table in the right frame.
- Click View Feature in the left frame to display a preview of the feature class geometry in the right frame.
Note:
To display the Feature Source Preview pane below the Feature Source Editor pane as you work, click Split.
