Open the Target Weld Tool

To open the Target Weld Tool

1. Do one of the following:
   • From the Mesh Editing Tools section of the Modeling Toolkit window, click .
   • From the main menu bar, select Mesh Tools > Target Weld Tool.
   • When an object is selected, + -click and select Target Weld Tool from the marking menu.
   • When a vertex is selected, + -click and select Merge Vertices > Target Weld Tool from the marking menu.
   • When an edge is selected, + -click and select Merge/Collapse Edges > Target Weld Tool from the marking menu.
   • When a face is selected, + -click and select Target Weld Tool from the marking menu.
Note: Opening the Target Weld Tool automatically activates Multi-Component selection mode.

To exit the Target Weld Tool

1. Switch to another tool.
   Tip: Press y to reactivate the Target Weld Tool after switching to another tool.
