Chamfer a vertex

You can create a chamfered corner at the location of a vertex using the Chamfer feature. Chamfer removes a vertex and creates a chamfered corner.

To chamfer a vertex

1. Select the vertex you want to chamfer.
2. Choose Edit Mesh > Chamfer.
   Note:

   Because of the way Chamfer works internally, the node it creates has Length and Divisions attributes. These attributes are locked and are not meaningful to edit.
