Value dialog-Edit venting analysis parameters

The Value dialog is used to specify values for vent size and exit pressure parameters when you choose to use Specified vent properties instead of the global settings.

Vent size

Specify the Thickness, Length and Width of the vent associated with a venting analysis location. Specify values for each dimension of the vent. The vent size specified in this dialog is the default vent size for all new venting analysis locations set on the model. Thickness The default thickness value is 0.03 mm. You can specify a thickness value in the range [0.001:1000] mm. Length The default length value is 3 mm. You can specify a length value in the range [0.1:1000] mm. Width The default width value is 3 mm. You can specify a width value in the range [0.1:1000] mm. Note: You can change the vent size of a selected venting analysis location by editing its properties. Editing the vent properties will not change the default values specified in this dialog.

Vent exit pressure (Gauge)

Specify the exit pressure of the vent associated with a venting analysis location.
