The Description tab of the Thermoset material dialog provides general, descriptive information identifying the thermoset material.
| Family name | The name of a family of materials, for example, Polycarbonate. Each material is a member of a family of materials. |
| Trade name | The name under which that the material or machine is traded. |
| Manufacturer | The manufacturer of the machine or material. |
| Family abbreviation | The shortened version of a material family name. For example, PC is the abbreviation for the family name Polycarbonate. |
| Data source | Describes the origin of the selected data. |
| Date last modified | The time when changes were last made to the selected data. |
| Date tested | Specifies the date when the material was first tested. |
| Data status | Indicates whether the data is confidential. |
| Material ID | An identifier used by the Autodesk Moldflow database, which is unique to each dataset entry. It is used for reference purposes. |
| Fibers/fillers | Specifies whether the material contains any fibers or fillers. |
