Input process settings

In this task, you use the input the coolant inlet parameters and the process settings plus, run the analysis.

1. With the Select tool from the Navigation Toolbar, select one of the coolant inlets.

   

2. Right click and select Properties.

3. Set the Coolant inlet temperature to 40° C, and Click OK.

   

4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the other coolant inlet.

5. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings).

   

6. Ensure that the Melt temperature is 250° C.

7. Ensure that the Mold-open time is 5 seconds.

8. Set the Injection + Packing + Cooling time to 10 seconds.

9. Click OK.

10. Click (Home > Analysis > Analyze in Cloud).

    The analysis takes 10 - 25 minutes to run.

11. When the analysis is finished, click Logs to close the Logs panel.
