Connector

A connector is a two-node linear element that is sometimes used when modeling runner systems, to connect a runner system to the part, when the two do not align exactly.

Connectors have zero flow or heat resistance and are simply used to complete the modeling processes and allow the simulation to proceed. For example, when modeling a thin Midplane part, if the diameter of the runner exceeds the thickness of the part, a connector can be used to connect the two and allow the simulation to proceed.
