Beam element diagnostic

There are several diagnostic tools related to potential beam element problems.

Beam element count diagnostic
displays a plot of the number of beam elements per curve used to model a cooling channel or runner system. A low beam element count may be representative of insufficient mesh density.
Beam L/D ratio diagnostic
displays a plot of the number of the length/diameter ratio of all beam elements in the model. If the ratio is too high, or too low, this may result in solver convergence warnings.
Trapped beam diagnostic
locates overlapping beam elements.
