Zero-thickness elements will not prevent an analysis from running, but they may lead to incorrect results, particularly in Fill+Pack analyses.
In the Options section of the dialog, decide how you would like to view the results. There are no other set-up parameters required for this diagnostic; simply press the Show button to see the results.
To correct a collapsed face on a Dual Domain mesh, delete the triangles using the shared node on one face, and create a triangle or triangles to fill the gap. You may need to create a new node in the face opposite the formerly shared one.
To correct a collapsed face on a 3D mesh, create additional tetrahedra to fill in the zero-thickness area.
