The Thermal Load command is used to apply a thermal load to the selected elements in the model. The thermal load is expressed as an increase in temperature on the top and/or bottom side of the element, where the top and bottom sides are defined by the mesh orientation. Thermal loads can be used to simulate the effect of heat on a part while it is in service.
