When you print views and sheets, you can choose vector processing or raster processing.
Specify the type of processing for a print job on the Print Setup dialog.
Raster processing times depend on the dimensions of the view and on the amount of graphics.
Vector processing times vary depending on the number of views processed and on view complexity. Vector processing typically produces much smaller print files than raster processing, and vector processing is usually faster than raster processing. Use vector processing whenever possible.
Revit automatically uses raster processing for a view if any of the following are true:
If you are printing a set of sheets and views and you have selected Vector Processing, Revit uses raster processing for individual views that meet the above criteria. For the remaining views and sheets in the set, Revit uses vector processing.
