Screen Capture - Tables

Click (Screen Capture) or select File > Screen Capture to save the current screen for project documentation.

To save the screen capture, use the following procedure:

  1. Enter a name (or accept the supplied default) in the Title field.
  2. Enter a comment in the Comment field (optional).
  3. Specify settings for the following options:
    • Add Info tab - If selected, it adds the Info tab to the screen capture.
    • Insert date and time - If selected, it inserts the date and time into the documentation (see Add data and time below).
    • Autoadjust column width - If selected (the default setting), it automatically adjusts the width of columns so that the optimal number of columns is presented on a page and ignores user-defined settings of the column width. If cleared, you can manipulate the column width manually.
  4. Select a screen capture type option:
    • View updated on printing - Screen captures will update with modifications. A new capture is generated before printing or previewing. It includes the current geometry, data and results of the project.
    • Current view (bitmap) - Screen captures are saved as bitmaps inserted into the documentation. These will not be updated after the structure model has been modified. The presented data and results are those at the moment of saving the screen capture. The advantage of a screen capture as a bitmap is that it is saved once and is not generated again at the moment of printing or preview, reducing time for analyzing results of large structure models.
    • Copy to clipboard - The screen capture is saved as a clipboard copy of the current view and can be inserted into the documentation.
  5. Click OK. The screen capture will be saved to the left panel of the Printout Composition dialog box (Screen Capture tab).
