Process Overview

You can run a flow simulation on your model without leaving the AutoCAD Plant3D environment.

  1. Open or create a model with AutoCAD Plant3D.
  2. Click Plug-Ins > Dalton to start Dalton.
  3. In the Project Dalton tab, click Select to open the Circuit selection dialog, and then select the circuits that you want to analyze.
    Note: Click Select All if you want to analyze the entire system.
  4. Click Description: Solve Solve. The list of simulation results becomes available in the Results panel.
  5. Select a result from the list in order to visualize it on your model.
  6. If you want to share your results, click Export Export, and then select the folder where you want to save your results.
    Note: Results are saved as a CSV file.
When your flow simulation is finished, click Finish Finish to return to AutoCAD Plant3D.
