Set up the Fluid and Materials

Use the Dalton browser to specify properties such as the fluid and material used in the circuit.

Note: After changing the fluid and material to use in the circuit, you need to run the simulation again in order to update the results.

To select the type of fluid to use in the circuit

1. If it is not already available, click Browser in the Visibility panel to display the Dalton Browser.
2. In the Dalton Browser, expand the Properties category.
3. Select a fluid from the Fluid list.
   Note: If you cannot find the fluid that you want to use in the list, you can add it in the Material Library.

To assign a material to a circuit element

1. If it is not already available, click Browser in the Visibility panel to display the Dalton Browser.
2. In the Dalton Browser, expand the Elements category, and then navigate to the element that you want to modify.
3. Under the Performance Data section, click the Material name to display the list of available materials.
4. Select a material to assign it to the selected element.
   Note: If you cannot find the material that you want to use in the list, you can add it in the Material Library.
