Project Explorer displays the files stored in the vault. Files are contained in folders. Projects are special folders that group files together from across multiple folders. For example, a project may contain the design files from one folder, an Excel spreadsheet from another folder, and a Word file with assembly instructions from yet another folder. Project folders are created using the Autodesk Vault client. The thin client displays projects and their contents, but cannot be used to create projects.
The File Details page displays a summary of the file, the full set of system and user-defined properties, as well as the history, uses, and where used data for the selected file. The properties displayed in file summary, the History tab, the Uses tab, and the Where Used tab can be configured independently of each other.
The Details Pane
The file summary at top of the Details pane displays a thumbnail (if available) of the current file as well as selected properties. Below the summary is the complete list of system and user-defined properties.
