Edit a Change Order Numbering Scheme (Vault 2015 Only)

Change the settings for an existing change order numbering scheme in Vault 2015.

Note: This topic applies only to Vault 2015. See Numbering Schemes for information about Change Order Numbering Schemes in Vault 2015 R2.

1. In the Vault Client, Tools > Administration > Vault Settings.
2. In the Vault Settings dialog box, click the Change Orders tab.
3. In the Change Order Numbering section, Click Define.

   The Change Order Numbering dialog opens.

   
4. In the Change Order Numbering dialog box, select a numbering scheme from the list and click Edit.
5. In the Code field, enter different descriptive information.
6. In the Edit/Create Change Order Numbering Scheme dialog box, edit the name, description, starting number, and the number of digits for the scheme.
   Note: For the pre-defined numbering scheme labeled ECO, only the starting number can be edited.
7. Click OK.
