Axis

Use this dialog to define or modify an axis style.

To display the Axis dialog:

1. On the Styles of symbols dialog, for Symbol, select Axis
2. Click New or Modify.

Specify axis parameters:

• Under Axis, define line type, color, and thickness parameters for the axis line
• Under Label, define shape (circle, ellipse, square, octagon), size, color, and thickness parameters for the axis label. Also, you can specify which ends of the axis should display the label
• Under Text, define the style, color, and size of the label text. Also, you can specify a prefix and a numbering type (A, B, C; 1, 2, 3; I, II, III; or user-defined)
• For Style name, enter a name for the axis style, and click Add.
