Using this option, you can specify how elements of a structure model (such as line thickness, line type, and color) should be displayed on the screen. You can also use it to display plans of building stories (see also: Preferences / Drawings).
To display the Graphic representation of elements dialog from:
- Menu: Formwork Drawings > Styles > Styles - element graphic display
- Ribbon: ASD - Model > Settings > Style > Styles - element graphic display
- Command line: RBCX_STYLE_GRAPHIC_PRESENTATION.
Define graphic representation:
- Element type - the type you select determines the parameters that display in the dialog
- Common parameters for all types of structure elements
- Contour line - style, color, and thickness
- Hatching - line style (specified or By material), color, scale, and angle
- Element-specific parameters:
- Wall, beam, continuous footing, ground beam and ring beam
Element axis - these parameters are available only if the Draw element axis option is selected, and include style, color, and thickness.
Element representation - either Real or Symbolic
Real
An element is represented in a drawing by a whole element contour (with the possibility of adding an element axis).
Symbolic
An element is represented in a drawing only by element axes.
- Lintel, opening in the beam, opening/recess (in wall or slab)
Element axis - these parameters are available only if the Draw element axis option is selected, and include style, color, and thickness.
Element representation - either Real or Symbolic
- Slab, raft foundation
Main direction
When the Draw the slab main direction option is selected, the main direction of the slab is displayed in the model; select the following parameters for the symbol of main direction: line type, color and thickness.
