Use the options provided on the Steps tab to define parameters of stair steps and their distribution.
Specify step definition parameters:
- Database – select a step type from the available step databases.
- Name
- Families - families available on the selection list are those defined in the Family Manager dialog. To add a family to the list (delete a family or modify its properties), click
. The Family manager dialog displays, where you can select a family.
- Depending on the step type, you may define dimensions.
Specify step distribution parameters:
- Number of steps
- Angle between the edge of the last step and the plane XZ of the coordinate system
- Angle in the horizontal plane between the edges of the neighboring steps
- Difference of height between the neighboring steps
- Number of coils (rotations)
- Total rotation angle (globally)
- Angle between the edge of the first (theoretical, not generated) step and the plane XZ of the coordinate system
