Trim

This option trims the selected parts of bars/objects. This option is available using either method:

• Click Edit menu > Trim.
• Click .

Trim is based on indicating on a selected bar/object the part to be trimmed. The trim part is located among bars/objects defining the trim edges. The trim edges can be bars or objects (arcs, circles, polylines and so on).

The dialog has the following options:

• Selection of cutting objects field specifies the number of cutting objects. The position of these objects defines which parts of the bars or objects can be trimmed.
• Bar/Objectfield specifies the bar or object number of which the part is to be trimmed.
• Relative Coordinate of the Trim Object Part specifies the coordinates of the part of the object located among the trim objects to be trimmed. Indicating this part can be performed graphically in the drawing area or by using a slider.

To trim the bar or object trim:

1. Select the bars or objects that define the trim edges.
2. Select the bar or object which has the part to be trimmed.
3. Indicate the part of the trim bar or object, which is to be trimmed (define the coordinate or indicate on the screen).
