A vertical intersection point (VIP) and vertical curve are removed from a road in a single operation. You can remove a VIP and vertical curve from a road in-model, or by using the Profile View panel.
To remove a vertical curve in the model
- Click
Edit. - Select the design road.
- Rotate and pitch the model so that the vertical manipulators are visible.
- Right-click the VIP of the vertical curve that you want to remove. Click Remove VIP.
The VIP and vertical curve are removed from the road.
To remove a vertical curve in the Profile View panel
- Click Edit.
- Select the design road.
- In
Profile View, right-click the VIP of the vertical curve you want to remove. (Use Ctrl or Shift to select multiple PVIs.) Click Remove VIP. The VIP and vertical curve are removed from the road.
