In this step we create a temporary material to act as a placeholder for our user-defined composite material, IM7_8552.
Certain bulk data file property entries, such as the PCOMPLS entry defined on the next page, don't operate with user defined materials. Therefore, we need to create a temporary material with the same material ID as our user material to run the analysis.
On the Properties tab, click the Isotropic button.
On the Materials form specify Create, Isotropic, Manual Input and name the material 9013.
Note: The material 9013 is the identification number of the IM7_8552 material stored in the Helius PFA material library. The identification number may vary from computer to computer. Please refer to the HPFAMatDB.xml file located in your materials directory to determine the appropriate material identification number to use.
Click the Input Properties button and enter an Elastic Modulus of 2.075E+07 and click OK.
