Run the Analysis

Now we are ready to run the analysis.

  1. Make sure the Tutorial_6_PW_Abaqus.inp and Tutorial_6_PW_Abaqus.hin files are saved in your working directory. The input file is available for download here.
  2. Open the Command Shell and type the following to submit the analysis, in this case with Abaqus 6.14-1 
    >>abq6141 job=Tutorial_6_PW_Abaqus
Note: If you decided to practice with the optional element deletion criteria suggested in the previous step, you may also run those models at this time.
