To View Shadows in the Viewport

1. Click View tab Palettes panel Visual Styles. Find
2. In the top panel of the Visual Styles Manager, select a visual style.

   Shadows are not displayed for Hidden, Wireframe, or Sketchy styles.

3. Set Shadow Display to Ground Shadow or Mapped Object Shadows.
