To View a Vehicle in a Library or the Pool

  1. On the Autodesk Vehicle Tracking toolbar, click Vehicle Library, or click Vehicle Tracking menu Vehicle Library.

The Library Explorer is displayed. If the library that you want is not loaded, then in the Library Explorer, click File menu Open Library, browse to find the library and click Open. A new Vehicle Library icon is displayed in the Library Explorer with the name of the library beside it.

The grouped buttons at the top of the Explorer dialog represent display group options: vehicle group, category, classification, type, or no group. You can click one of these to list the vehicles grouped accordingly when the library is expanded.

To display all vehicles from all libraries together, click the Hide Library Level button.

To expand the library or the pool, click on the + symbol.

The arrow on the header bar allows you to list the data in ascending or descending alphanumeric order. Click on the arrow to change the order, or click on another column header to sort by another category.

Below the buttons is an editable list box that allows you to search for text in all open vehicle libraries. Simply type the text in the field and click the Search button. The last 20 searches are saved and can be recalled by clicking the arrow on the right.

  2. To work with a single vehicle, highlight it and click Edit menu Edit (or View if the library is locked).

The Vehicle Details dialog is displayed.

  3. To work with a vehicle group, highlight it and click Edit menu Edit (or View if the library is locked).

The Vehicle Group dialog is displayed.

  4. To create a new vehicle or edit or view an existing vehicle using the Vehicle Wizard, click the Vehicle Wizard button.
  5. To print a library, vehicle group or vehicle, click File menu Print, or click the Print button.
  6. To display a picture of the current vehicle in a window adjacent to the Library Explorer, click the Vehicle Diagram button.
