You can create a pressure network from a selected object in the drawing.
This command converts lines, arcs, 2D and 3D polylines, splines, feature lines, alignments, and survey figures into connected pressure pipes and bends.
On the Home tab, click Create Design panel Pipe NetworkCreate Pressure Network From ObjectFind.
Select the object to be converted. Only one object can be selected.
Note: Arcs are converted into curved pipe segments.
Spline segments are converted into straight pipe segments connected with bends. If none of the available bend angles can be used, then the pipes are created without fittings to connect them.
When converting an alignment that contains spirals, the spirals are converted into multiple curved pipe segments.
Accept the current direction or reverse the direction.
Use the Create Pressure Pipe Network From Object dialog box to specify the pressure network name, the parts list, layers, reference objects, and elevation reference.
After the pressure network is created, you can use the Design Check command to identify pipes that exceed the allowable deflection or minimum flexible radius.
Appurtenances are not added when using this command.
